Scholarship FAQ


What is the easiest way to register my daughter for the scholarship test?

Click here and apply online via Academic Assessment Services. Please ensure that you register your daughter for the correct scholarship.

Does my daughter have to sit the test at St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School?

Yes. Special arrangements can be made for students who live more than 400km from Perth and are unable to travel to St Mary’s to sit the test.

What happens if I do not register before the closing date?

Due to administrative processes, we are unable to accept late applications.

Can I have a copy of my daughter’s scholarship results?

St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School does not release scholarship results to parents.

When will I find out if my daughter has received a scholarship?

Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted after results have been provided to the School. Prospective scholarship recipients will be contacted by the School after Wednesday 28 February 2024 and invited to interviews between Thursday 29 February 2024 and Friday 15 March 2024.

What is the percentage of remission provided by the scholarships?

Scholarships offer a partial remission of up to 50% of tuition fees.

Do I need to pay the endowment fee if my daughter accepts a scholarship?

Yes, on acceptance of a scholarship, all families, if they haven’t already done so, must:

  • Complete an Application for Enrolment
  • Pay the non-refundable endowment fee of $6,445 (2023 rate).
