Wildlife visit enriches learning

This term, our Year 10 Environmental Science students have been learning about the complexities of climate change and the impact of our carbon footprint.
As part of the topic, they had an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s native wildlife, including a cuddly one-year-old koala and a playful four-month-old sugar glider, along with friendly pythons and blue tongue lizard.
This immersive incursion deepened the girls’ understanding of the crucial role that each of us plays in preserving our ecosystem.
