Budding designers gain industry insights

Two classes of our Year 11 Design Students recently met with Coco Republic’s Jake Stewart (Store Manager), Richard Frankel (Trade Manager) and Zosha Kay (Interior Designer) to admire the acclaimed interior design brand’s Karrinyup showroom and learn more about its day-to-day operations.

Jake, Richard, and Zosha talked to our students about the inspiration for their latest collection, the importance of personal customer service, and how a public and accessible showroom is important in attracting and retaining clients. They also fielded questions about several current design issues, such as the importance of sustainability and the use of authentic, natural materials.
