Class of 2021 Achieves Outstanding WACE Results

POSTED December 20 2021 , News

St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School is delighted to share the outstanding results of our Class of 2021 following the recent WACE examinations.

The 2021 cohort has performed strongly across all subjects and achieved excellent results. The students’ individual abilities, as well as the hard work, strength, and academic depth of the year group, is reflected in the ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Ranks) results achieved by the students. St Mary’s median ATAR for 2021 was 91.05, compared to the WA median of 81.75.

St Mary’s Principal, Mrs Judith Tudball, commended the girls on their efforts.

“We are immensely proud of the Class of 2021. They are strong young women who are deserving of these outstanding academic results.

“Our Centenary leavers are also to be commended for their commitment to the extensive opportunities afforded to them through our co-curricular and service programs. Balancing academic study while contributing to our community shows that they are adaptable young women who possess grit and persistence.

“I commend the Class of 2021 for their courage and compassion. They are incredible young women and I wish them success and happiness in their lives beyond the gates of St Mary’s.”

The 2021 cohort included 143 students who achieved an ATAR, resulting in these impressive statistics:

In addition to these outstanding results from our ATAR students, we also acknowledge the phenomenal work of our Elevate girls this year. A number of these students also sat individual ATAR examinations, and all will have completed their equivalent Externally Set Tasks for General courses of study earlier this year on top of their industry certifications. Our Elevate girls have continued to shine in their chosen fields, and we look forward to hearing more of their journeys in the very near future.

Award winners for General Exhibitions, Subject Exhibitions and Certificates of Excellence, Distinction and Merit will be published by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority in due course. We look forward to welcoming these girls back, along with our High Flyers, on Monday 31 January 2022.
