Your experience at St Mary’s in three words: Full of opportunities

Where has life after St Mary’s taken you?

To seven years at university, completed three degrees and then moved into private practice with several national law firms in their insurance departments, before moving in-house.

How do you think St Mary’s prepared you for life after school?

St Mary’s gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams.

What prompted you to pursue a position on the Board, Foundation or Association at your former school?

I have been on the Old Girls’ Association Committee since 1999, having finished Year 12 in 1998. I wanted to give back to the School in some way and remain connected to the School that I feel gave me so much.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

My children, Amelia (4) and Hugh (3).

What is your fondest memory of your time at St Mary’s?

There are too many to list, and there have been so many more since we were ‘Out the Gate in ‘98, due to the lifelong friends that I made during my time at St Mary’s.

What is the most important message you want to send out to young women thinking about their careers?

Don’t be afraid to try or pursue things that make you feel uncomfortable. Apply for the job you don’t think you’re qualified for or ask for that promotion!
