Students mark Holy Week and Easter
POSTED April 17 2025 , News, Parents & Community
Easter marks one of the most significant celebrations in the Christian calendar. It is a time for prayer and reflection, as well as a time to rejoice in hope, renewal and the promise of a new life.
With Holy Week and Easter falling during the school holidays this year, our students spent the final week of term participating in various Easter celebrations.
Easter Egg Drive for Fostering Hope
Our Junior School girls participated in an Easter Egg Drive to provide Easter goodies for Fostering Hope, an organisation dedicated to providing love and support to children in foster care and remote communities.
The last week of Term 1 saw girls from Kindergarten to Year 6 donate piles of chocolatey treats, which have since been distributed to foster families across Perth.

Easter Craft Creations
Our Pre-primary girls got busy with the paints and glue, participating in various Easter activities, including arts and crafts and dress-ups!

Egg and Spoon Races
It’s not Easter without an egg and spoon race, and our Year 7 girls were eager to show off their skills. Our Prefects couldn’t resist joining in on the fun, taking time out of their link classes to cheer the girls on.

Easter Services
On the final day of Term 1, all students attended a special Chapel service. The Junior School focused on Palm Sunday complete with palm fronds to remind us of the importance of Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week.

Our Senior School service featured uplifting performances by the Senior School Band and the Year 10 Vocal Ensemble, a moving dance by the Liturgical Dance Ensemble, and a powerful dramatic recreation of The Last Supper.
The service was further highlighted by several prayer readings, a message from our Principal, Mrs Judith Tudball and a meaningful blessing from Reverend Ruth Chapman.
