Students shine at WA State All Schools Athletics Carnival

St Mary’s students showcased their athletic prowess at the recent WA State All Schools Athletics event, with remarkable results across multiple age divisions.
Emily (Year 12) dominated the Under 18 competition, taking 1st place in both the discus and hammer throw events.
In the Under 14 division, Kyla (Year 8) displayed versatility across a range of disciplines, finishing 4th in both shot put and triple jump, 5th in the long jump and 400m, and 8th in the 200m.
Mikayla (Year 10) excelled in the Under 16 high jump, clearing a height of 1.65m to secure 1st place. Her performance stands as a testament to her hard work and focus.
Meanwhile, Caitlin (Year 10), also competing in the Under 16 division, earned 2nd place in the 200m hurdles and 3rd in the 90m hurdles.
