Students steer into skipper status in Busselton

On Friday 7 June, our Year 11 Marine and Maritime students earned their recreational skipper’s tickets in Busselton.

They learned to deliver a safety briefing, perform a man-overboard drill, and safely berth boats at a jetty.

The students had the opportunity to drive various vessels to broaden their skills.

To help them refine their abilities as newly qualified skippers, the school hired boats on Saturday for additional practise.
